Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is stunning--you can hear the sound of silence like almost nowhere else in the world, and you can see such beautiful stars because it's so remote. The food is delicious. The huge spreads that were prepared for dinner and breakfast were delicious and delivered with such friendly smiles. The staff are warm and generous and friendly without being overbearing--I had such lovely conversations while also having alone time for myself to take in the beautiful location. They also helped me feel very safe! As a solo female traveler, I was a little worried about being alone in the desert with a handful of men, but once I was there I felt completely respected and at ease. The tents are spacious and beautifully furnished, and the beds are insanely comfortable. The best sleep I got during my whole trip to Oman was in this tent! The bathrooms are excellent as well--full toilet and bidet, shower, and sink.

Negative: I genuinely cannot think of anything that could have made this better. I had the time of my life :)

Summary: This was one of the best experiences of my life. I am so grateful.
