Set on 2.5 acres of a mix of lush rainforest and bushland, this luxury resort style property will provide a tranquil break away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There are often daily sightings of wallabies and other wildlife, whilst being surrounded by creativity with amazing art and sculpture.
35 mins from Brisbane CBD, 45 min to the Gold Coast, 1.5 hours to the Sunshine Coast. Sirromet Winery is just 10 minutes drive away as is the local Capalaba CBD.
The modern two story guest house includes a luxurious comfortable king size bed with flat screen TV, ensuite and large WIR downstairs, whilst the upstairs spacious living room has luxurious quality furnishings. Shower gel is provided but you will need to bring all other toiletries. There is a fully fitted out kitchen with plenty of pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, along with a large fridge/freezer, oven, hotplates, microwave, dishwasher and there's also a combi washer/dryer. There's a large flat screen TV (with Netflix) for your enjoyment and free WIFI. Optus has great coverage but Telstra is limited. There is a reverse cycle air conditioner for your comfort and fans both upstairs and down.
There is a Nespresso pod coffee machine and a range of tea's for your enjoyment. We provide 1L of full cream milk, sugar, salt & pepper, honey, peanut butter and oil. The supermarkets are about 10 minutes up the road at Capalaba to get supplies.
There is a fully equipped kitchen if you wish to cook during your stay, as well as a small BBQ on the deck.
There's a comfortable outdoor setting on the deck where you can relax, have a drink and enjoy the tranquility and wildlife.
The Guest House is most suited for a couple but if you have kids, a couple of single bed mattresses can be placed upstairs in the living room. Sculptures can also be removed to be avoid worrying about potential breakages.
The car park is right in front of the guest house and access is via the bedroom downstairs.. There are lovely gardens where you can feel free to wander around and find the love seat where you can swing and enjoy the gorgeous gardens.
For your information, there is an outdoor security camera set up to overlook the car park and entrance to the Guest House, as well as a camera that overlooks the pool and deck area.
There is a resort style heated* swimming pool that you are welcome to use along with a double sized daybed.
*only heated from September to April.

Guests can access the entire guest house, the pool and the front gardens. The spa is not available for use. The Guest House is completely private and is likely that you wont even see anybody during your stay, unless you would like to of course.
